A Hydraulic Square Ear Flanging Machine is a hydraulic device specially used for edge forming of metal sheets. It can efficiently and accurately process square ear structures. The equipment consists of multiple key systems, and each part plays an irreplaceable role.
The hydraulic system is the core power source of the entire equipment, and is mainly composed of components such as hydraulic pumps, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic control valves, oil tanks, and oil pipe seals. The hydraulic pump is responsible for providing high-pressure oil, and the common types are gear pumps and plunger pumps.
The hydraulic cylinder converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy to push the mold to complete the flanging action; the hydraulic control valve is used to adjust the flow direction, pressure and flow of the oil to ensure that the flanging process is smooth and controllable; the oil tank is used to store and cool the hydraulic oil to maintain the stable operation of the system; the oil pipe and seals are responsible for conveying hydraulic oil and preventing leakage to ensure long-term reliable operation of the system.
The frame and fuselage are the supporting structures of the equipment, usually made of high-strength steel plates or cast iron to ensure that the equipment can still maintain sufficient rigidity and stability under high-pressure working environments. The frame mainly includes three parts: the upper crossbeam, the lower workbench and the column (or guide column).
The upper crossbeam is used to fix the upper die part, the lower workbench is installed with the lower die and the workpiece positioning device, and the column or guide column not only plays a supporting role, but also guides the slider to move up and down to ensure the accuracy of the flanging process.
The mold system is a key part that determines the shape and quality of the flanging. It is usually made of wear-resistant alloy steel (such as Cr12MoV) to increase its service life. The mold mainly includes the upper die (convex die) and the lower die (concave die). The upper die is installed on the slider and applies pressure to the plate under hydraulic drive, while the lower die is fixed on the workbench and cooperates with the upper die to complete the flanging. In addition, the mold system also includes positioning devices, such as stoppers and clamps, which are used to ensure the accurate position of the plate during processing and avoid defective products caused by offset.
The slider and guide mechanism are responsible for performing the flanging action. The slider is connected to the hydraulic cylinder and the upper die, and moves up and down under hydraulic drive. The guide rail or guide sleeve is used to guide the movement of the slider, reduce the wear of the mold by the lateral force, and ensure the smoothness and accuracy of the flanging process. The performance of this part directly affects the processing efficiency and the quality of the finished product.
The electrical control system is the "brain" of the equipment, responsible for coordinating the operation of various parts. Modern Hydraulic Square Ear Flanging Machines usually use PLC or CNC systems to control key parameters such as hydraulic valves, stroke, pressure, etc. to achieve automated processing. The operation panel allows workers to set process parameters such as pressure, speed and stroke, while various sensors (such as position sensors and pressure sensors) monitor the equipment status in real time to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Auxiliary devices are mainly used to improve the operational safety and production efficiency of the equipment. The lubrication system regularly provides lubrication for moving parts such as guide rails and molds to reduce friction loss; safety protection devices such as gratings and emergency stop buttons can quickly stop the machine in an emergency to protect the safety of operators; unloading mechanisms (such as pneumatic ejection devices) can automatically remove the formed workpieces, reduce manual intervention, and improve production efficiency.
